Sylvia Valenzuela, FNP-C

Sylvia Valenzuela, FNP-C, is a talented, compassionate, and board-certified family nurse practitioner. She provides skilled and dedicated care to her patients in Tucson at the Pain Institute of Southern Arizona, which is conveniently located throughout Tucson, Green Valley, Safford, and Benson, Arizona.

Sylvia earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, her Master of Science degree in nursing, and her family nurse practitioner from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix. She’s an active member of her field and enjoys membership in the Emergency Nurses Association, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Before coming to the Pain Institute of Southern Arizona, Sylvia worked as an emergency room nurse, during which time she discovered her passion for treating chronic pain. She finds immense satisfaction in helping people find relief from their pain and get back to enjoying their lives.

Outside of her practice, Sylvia likes to spend time with her family and participate in community events.
