Aimee Rodriguez, FNP-C
Aimee Rodriguez, FNP-C, earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona before continuing her education at Grand Canyon University, where she earned a Master’s degree in Nursing and completed her post-master’s certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Her path into healthcare was inspired by personal experiences that showed her the profound impact compassionate, skilled medical professionals can have on patients and their families. She began her nursing career in the ICU, caring for critically ill patients recovering from open-heart surgery, lung transplants, and other complex procedures. Working in critical care during the COVID-19 pandemic further strengthened her commitment to patient education, advocacy, and compassionate care and ultimately motivated her to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Today, she has developed a genuine passion for pain management and helping patients improve their function and quality of life. She believes exceptional care begins with truly listening to each patient, understanding the person behind the diagnosis, and developing an individualized approach to treatment. She values the trust patients place in their healthcare providers and strives to treat each person with empathy, kindness, dignity, and respect.
She is committed to continuing to expand her knowledge of pain management and helping patients better understand their conditions and treatment options so they can take an active role in their healthcare journey.
Outside of work, family is her greatest priority. She enjoys spending time with her two German Shepherds, watching, and participating in sports, traveling and experiencing different cultures, and discovering new coffee shops. A fun fact about her is that she has an identical twin sister who also works in medicine.
