I am more than pleased with Pisapain, I get the best care ever all the time.. Cannot say enough about not just Dr Cubillo, but the whole office staff are friendly and caring. They deserve more than 5 stars.

After having the same type of injections with another provider in another city, I found this to be the most elite experience I’ve ever had. Dr. Henry was so kind and personal and spent time with me answering any questions I would have. The nurse is in the surgery center were amazing! They calm my nerves and talk to me during the entire procedure! My experience actually started at the front desk with a young lady named Danni, who has the best attitude, the quickest smile, and the friendliest person I’ve ever met! The whole experience was amazing!

Transition from my Oncologist to Dr Farshad for secondary bone metastasis pain was seamless. Prescribed a long acting pharmaceutical that is working much better for my pain.
Previous requests had been denied by my insurance.
Doctor and staff made sure there was preauthorization . No issues with my health insurance now.

Have had great care from Dr Bailey. He’s my third back doctor since moving to Tucson five years ago. Since my epidurals were no longer working , he suggested I get the spinal cord stimulator. It is working pretty well, but at times bothers me, but I’m dealing with it. Exercise and stretching is my best course of action to keep myself as limber as possible. Going to PT has also helped me greatly. Motion is lotion! Dr Bailey has had wonderful suggestions on things to do for my issues and it has helped greatly.

Always has time to answer your questions. Dr. Cubillo & his Surgery staff are outstanding and compassionate, extra Kudos to Nurse Chris. He’s awesome.

It was such a pleasure to interact with Dr Gossler’s office just in the process of scheduling an appointment. A real person spoke to me relatively quickly without waiting on hold forever which has unfortunately become the painful norm. They were able to schedule me into an appointment promptly even though I was a NEW PATIENT. This was so amazing because having to wait even 1-2 months when you are in excruciating pain is almost torture. The nursing staff were professional and caring and Dr Gossler was successful in treating the pain that had been with me for 12 months. A black cloud was lifted and it is amazing to be pain free for even 6-7 hours.

Gemma is a wonderful PA. When 2 different pharmacies were unable to fill my pain medication. Gemma called me and let me know that I could get it at CVS. I’d been told I may have to wait a week or more before they would have my medicine. Nice to know that Everyone at the Regional Pain institute is concerned about me and so helpful. I was greeted by a very pleasant young man [Mark Cameron, ACNPC-AG] that had read my history, extensive as it is, and had a frank discussion with me about the severe pain. I have been suffering for 40 years due to a tumor in my spinal cord, and subsequent melodies after that. He was extremely engaged ask pertinent questions, and was truly interested in what the pain clinic could do for me.
He gave me several treatment options of which I am considering and furthermore encouraged me to get x-rays on my elbow and wrist to decide if the injections would assist me in daily life.
I was most impressed with the doctor, checking in with him before he left the building and consider that a sign that they are truly thorough by ascertaining the cause of the pain before injections.
I would recommend Pisapain clinic as an option of exploration before invasive procedures.

How did I get so lucky to be assigned to Dr. Cornidez? He is the BEST doctor I have ever had. I first saw Dr. Cornidez in 2017. I didn’t need to see him again until 2020 and have been seeing him ever since. He has tried everything in his power to help me with my lower back issues, standing & walking, mainly due to extreme pain. Until I was given a Cluneal Nerve Block, I was no longer able to walk at least 1/2 mile every morning. I am now walking one mile…big milestone. Dr. Cornidez is very kind, soft spoken, explains procedures, shows that he cares, and doesn’t give up. Every person I have dealt with at PISA has been very professional, friendly, and caring. PISA is outstanding although I think they could be more aggressive and empathetic when dealing with their long-time patients who present with sudden onset of excruciating pain. Do not treat them as criminals or drug seeking addicts or especially if they voluntarily ceased all opiates 2-3 PRIOR.

From the moment you walk in the door, to the follow up calls, you can feel well cared for. They work well together as a team. They have very clear communication with you prior to your procedure and afterwards.

Second attempt on managing the pain. Hoping for better results. However, over a week since the injection with little to no relief. Follow up appointment soon. Left a message about some concerns and didn’t receive a call back. Insurance approval took longer both times than past experiences with other offices. In-Office and surgical staff were friendly and courteous during my visits.

On May 1. 2022 i awoke and could not walk
After my MRI showed surgery was out of the question and steriod shots as well, Dr Cornidez suggested a stimulator, which was inserted in my back 1 year ago and i consider it a miracle that i am able to walk today. Dr. Cornidez never gave up until he found a way to help me walk again. I recommend the Pisa clinic for anyone suffering from back pain.

I was very pleased with the facility, staff and Dr. Duran. My first 2 visits were for diagnostic purposes and I had some significant relief. However when I called in my pain log the day after my 2nd visit in the morning I expected a phone a call to set up the ablation. I waited 3 days and left another message asking for my appointment. They called the next day with a date a month later saying the doctor was out for 2 weeks. That was no excuse since the doctor told me he would see me in 2 weeks, and since I wasn’t contacted right away maybe they would have been able to schedule me before he left for vacation which he definitely deserved. Just disappointed I have to wait a month in pain.

I think Gemma is awesome! She is very professional while at the same time very warm and compassionate. She always talks to me and makes me feel at ease. I recommend her whole heartedly.

Injections were much easier than I had anticipated. Dr. Gossler paid attention to what I told him about my pain and how it was affecting my daily life.

Overall I have been pleased. But communication has been lacking for me. The written and oral instructions were vague to me. To the point a procedure was rescheduled because I took my oral sedative before I arrived at the clinic. I never even understood what the “ablation” procedure was. Until I finally received a brochure about it the day my appointment was canceled.
Once I was in the procedure room the staff was wonderful! Always helpful and explaining exactly what was happening. Those were my best thoughts about the pain clinic.
Other than that… I can’t say I felt like a valuable person…

Dr. Cornidez has changed my life.

Since my stroke and heart attack last year, and arthritis in my hip and knee, America is an integral part of my medical team as I return to bicycling and possibly even hiking. Losing my right side from the stroke, America’s support and encouragement has been crucial to my almost impossible endeavors, especially concerning my pain management. She always knows just what to say as I progress monthly in making this become a reality. Like my outstanding Cardiologist and Dermatologist, she is a thinker and knows just what I need. I have been seeing the Pain Institute for three years I have lived in Southern Arizona. Gemma Lopez always listens and communicates with me about how I am doing on my current care. She always finds time to answer my concerns with how medications are working and plans the treatment plans quickly and accurately. Her Assistant Alisia works well with her as a team expediting my visit. They are both very professional and personable. My insurance is workmans comp which is more complicated and they follow through with the ancillary details (approvals, prescriptions, office, etc). The office staff are helpful, professional, and thorough. The office is clean and organized. Wait times are usually within 15 min.

Dr Yelavarthi and staff are the best that I’ve ever had to care for my issues stimming back to when I started in 2016. Not only does he listen to you but his and his staff have awesome bedside manners

I was seen by Sylvia on Aug. 15. Not only was she nice and professional. I really appreciated she was willing to listen to what I had to say. I always thought people that went to pain clinics were just going to get increased pain meds. She listened to me knowing that was not what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend Dr Bailey and Sylvia Valenzuela FNP-C.

I have been seeing Dr. Henry for a while now and he is very understanding with the amount of pain I am in. He has done his best to try and remedy this to no avail unfortunately . We are in a waiting period for a procedure that could bring me relief and I can’t wait to get the call that it has been approved.

I was impressed with the professional quality, caring and friendliness of all the personnel I met, especially Dr. Gilman. Also the use of X-rays to locate the correct positioning of the hip injection was reassuring.

My only suggestion is that something should be done to eliminate the amount of time to get to the receptionist. That is your first point of contact for new patients and the long wait does not reflect the professionalism of your office.

Dr. Duran was fantastic. He was caring and knowledgeable and LISTENED to my concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Duran to anyone seeking a compassionate pain doctor.

My time at PISA has been very helpfull. The constant pain I felt with had put me into a depression that was keeping me immobile. With the constant care of PISA I have learned to control my pain. It is still present but I am able to navigate around it and have a few good hours each day. Before the shots and the meds I was unable to care for my daily needs. Often I would cry for hours each day. Now I am able to have 3-4 hours of “good “ time each day. Which allows me to shower on my own and even leave my house for visits with friends and family. The pain is still there but has become much more manageable.
