America Ramirez, FNP-C
America Ramirez, FNP-C, is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner at the Pain Institute of Southern Arizona where she serves a diverse patient population. Her journey in healthcare began as a registered nurse in the emergency department at Oro Valley Hospital in 2016.
While pursuing her Family Nurse Practitioner degree, America continued her career as an emergency/trauma nurse at Honor Health, and later at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where she developed a deep commitment to patient advocacy and compassionate care. These experiences shaped her holistic approach to pain management, focusing on both the physical and emotional well-being of her patients.
America holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN) and a Master’s in Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN, APRN) from Grand Canyon University. Bilingual in Spanish and English, she is licensed by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and remains an active member of both the AANP and the Emergency Nurses Association.
Her philosophy centers around kindness, compassion, and humility, coupled with a strong foundation of medical expertise. America is committed to building long-lasting relationships with her patients and providing them with the innovative care they need to manage chronic pain effectively.
Outside of her practice, America enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending quality time with her husband and their playful Golden Retriever, Wrigley.
