I had my first interaction with America and her assistant recently. They were both very friendly and pleasant while unit.. I am more likely to share my concerns if I am treated with respect.(Like you would a good friend or family member) America has very good listening skills, a sense of humor and still maintains a professionalism. When a person has to be seen, whether it is once a month or possibly 3 to 4 times a month, that person may be seeing the provider more than they see their own friends or family members. Pain, in my opinion, limits or alters what activities, interactions and finances the patient has, so anyone that can bring some happiness while also providing a caring attitude, like America, is a true blessing. It makes one feel like one still has value emotionally/mentally in a social setting.
I got to see America for a re-evaluation last week. She took one look at my back and the the rock-hard spasms. She took me right upstairs and did the injections in my back to alleviate the spasms and pain! My old doctor on the northwest side of Tucson would have made me wait a month for the right side injections, and then another two weeks to do the left side! I am so grateful for Dr. Cornidez and America! I went to that old place for almost 10 years and never had the level of relief and care that I’ve had by just seeing them for ONE year!
