Dr. Duran is a wonderful physician and a tremendous person. You can sit and speak with Dr. Duran and it is obvious that you are not just speaking to someone who is letting all you say just pass by but, one who listens carefully and cares about your situation. His empathy and thoughtfulness are very apparent – he listens to your questions and gives you a thorough answer which you can comprehend. I was very pleased with the facility, staff and Dr. Duran. My first 2 visits were for diagnostic purposes and I had some significant relief. However when I called in my pain log the day after my 2nd visit in the morning I expected a phone a call to set up the ablation. I waited 3 days and left another message asking for my appointment. They called the next day with a date a month later saying the doctor was out for 2 weeks. That was no excuse since the doctor told me he would see me in 2 weeks, and since I wasn’t contacted right away maybe they would have been able to schedule me before he left for vacation which he definitely deserved. Just disappointed I have to wait a month in pain.
My first visit he had so much energy and appeared to be doing exactly what he loves doing [Marco Duran, MD]. He smiled and was so excited to explain to me what no one had regarding my chronic pain, diagnoses, test results , showed me every detail on a model sculpture he had in his office . I left from there feeling stress free and extremely confident I was in good hands. Thank you !
