
Stephanie Segovia, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Born and raised in Tucson, AZ, Stephanie has dedicated over a decade of her career to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in emergency settings. After completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Grand Canyon University, she went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing, with a Family Nurse Practitioner degree.
With 12 years of experience as a registered nurse in emergency departments across Tucson, Stephanie has developed a deep understanding of acute and chronic pain management, as well as the unique needs of patients facing critical and complex health issues. Her extensive background in emergency care has honed her ability to provide rapid, effective interventions while fostering strong patient relationships built on trust and empathy.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Stephanie is passionate about educating the next generation of nursing professionals. She currently serves as an adjunct instructor at Grand Canyon University, where she imparts her knowledge and experience to Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) students. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes evidence-based practice, clinical reasoning, and the development of compassionate, patient-centered care.
Stephanie’s personal life is equally fulfilling; she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and four children, and is committed to balancing her professional and family life. With her extensive nursing experience, advanced training as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and passion for patient education, Stephanie is eager to apply her skills and knowledge to the field of pain management, where she can help patients achieve better outcomes and improved quality of life.
