I’m 76 yrs old, at this time in my life I expected to have stop doing the things I love because my knees and back are a problem. Dr Duran said he could make the pain go away so I could continue playing soccer with my grandchildren and continue to take hiking travel adventures. The whole world has opened up again.

Thank you to Dr Duran. He is kind, funny, professional and really really really good at what he does. I feel very blessed and very busy again!

I especially like dealing with Dr. Vamshi Yelavarthi. He is highly skilled in his surgical practices. Both the trial test and the subsequent implant of my Neuro Stimulator were with minimal post surgery discomfort! Prior to both he thoroughly explained the process, risks and expectations. I have never felt rushed during any of my appointments. After each of the procedures I received a follow up phone call the next day to see how I was doing, had any questions or concerns.

I highly recommend the Pain Institute of Southern Arizona, San Tan Valley!

Although I waited an hour for the doctor, I felt he listened to me and spent a reasonable amount of time with me. While I still have questions about the treatment he recommended, I hope these will be answered at the next appointment before the procedure actually takes place.

Dr Duran has been patient as well as empathic to my frustration over my multiple pain issues, some of which may be related to some of my phycological comorbities I’ve struggled with for many decades. A recent MRI of my shoulder indicated some damage, but I’ve already had two surgeries there, the is difficult. “Butt” with my tailbone pain Lol issue, driving there… or anywhere has been extremely difficult. So, that said, he agreed to first focus on my most urgent issue. I couldn’t recommend Dr Duran more highly, yeah, ok, he’s a “youngster” but a youngster that happens to be a genius that also CARES can do quite a bit of good. I’m just sayin’ Lol

Kerry has been our doctor for a few years now and we couldn’t be happier about it. She has always been there for me and has encouraged my husband and myself throughout this process. Honestly, going here and seeing them has helped me a lot ^^ I have scoliosis that’s not treatable by surgery, so I’ve lived almost all of my life in chronic pain. After going here and getting a treatment plan (Trigger Point Injections) I’ve been able to actually go about my day without being trapped in a body that just didn’t work. It honestly feels amazing to actually be able to feel like I can breathe a sigh of relief. This doesn’t mean it takes 100% of my pain away, but it takes enough away to live. The rest of it I have to put in my own effort to with PT and the like. Just a little example of the improvement I’ve had: I used to only be able to handle going out and walking around for one day before taking a 2-3 days rest due to the pain. Now I can comfortably do 3–4 days of walking/going out and living life before crashing for about 2 days. <3

My treatments were completed a few weeks. Staff was excellent. The office staff/techs were excellent. I would recommend them to anyone.

Feeling really much better today, 2nd day thus far, procedure went well apart from my screaming, lack of anesthesia. Dr G, was just fine, and I look forward to the final procedure.
