
Monica Katsanes, FNP-BC
Monica Katsanes, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner on the team of exceptional medical providers at the Pain Institute of Southern Arizona.
Monica earned a Master of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Grand Canyon University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Ottawa University, and an Associates of Science in Nursing degree from Phoenix College. Monica is also a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving 5 years as a combat medic. Additionally, she has a vast background in healthcare education teaching at both private, vocational colleges and Maricopa County Community College District.
Monica has more than 28 years of experience in the healthcare profession with a strong commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, and dedication to improving the lives and well-being of her patients. In her practice, she manages patient care, diagnostics, and medication maintenance.
Outside of work, Monica loves to sing and DJ Karaoke, crafting, thrifting, and spending time with her family and friends.
