Lorenzo Sabido, MD

Dr. Lorenzo Sabido is a fellowship-trained physician specializing in interventional pain medicine at the Pain Institute of Southern Arizona (PISA) in Tucson. He is committed to helping patients regain function and improve their quality of life through comprehensive, evidence-based pain management.

Dr. Sabido completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, earning a Bachelor of Science in Science-Business. He received his medical degree from the Texas Tech University Paul L. Foster School of Medicine in El Paso and went on to complete his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He continued at the same institution for advanced fellowship training in pain medicine through an ACGME-accredited program.

As part of the PISA team, Dr. Sabido is excited to contribute to the practice’s mission of delivering high-quality, patient-focused care. He is skilled in a wide range of interventional pain procedures and takes pride in developing individualized treatment plans that address each patient’s unique needs.

Outside of work, Dr. Sabido enjoys hiking, trying new restaurants, watching college football, and spending time with his fiancée and their dog, Simba.
